Carmaletes Original Organic Seasoning

December 2021

December has begun bringing us very much needed rain, even though it is nothing like the 5+ inches we normally receive.  Lots of lightning, thunder, high winds, and only ¼ inch of actual rain.  But the power outages have cost us two large ceiling fans.

December has allowed us to gather more with like minded believers and make several trips to visit a special little lady in Deridder, LA.  It is such a joy to visit with the elderly or widows.

We along with five other families decided to resume our monthly gatherings and Scripture Studies along with delicious meals.  Since we hosted it this month, the meat menu was a 20# turkey injected and seasoned with my Organic Poultry Blend.  I braised it with butter and white wine.  I also cooked a beef roast that was stuffed with fresh garlic and seasoned with my Organic Original Blend.  There were vegetables of every kind; steamed, broiled, and baked.  An organic eggplant dressing that was so moist came from Toledo Bend. A homemade coconut pineapple cake, that returned home with only two pieces, traveled from Leesville.  A widower from Bayou Chicot brought a large fruit and nut salad minus the heavily sweetened condensed milk.  Corn Maque Choux, which is a Cajun corn dish cooked down with onions, seasoning, and beef Tasso was also in the serving line up. Beverages accompanying were a Rose’ wine and a smooth balanced Red wine as well as tea.

2021 will close with us gathering with a few families, and celebrating 43 years of marriage; 46 years of knowing each other.  Growing old together is getting better with time and lots of love, trials, and the lasting faith that Almighty GOD, YAHUUAH has everything under control.

Count your blessings and give GOD the glory and praise!!
